CEMTIO
The Spanish Medical Research Group on Interventionist Obesity Treatments is a group of medical experts who form the Centres specialised in the study and treatment of obesity. They have earned the right to form part of the centres due to their educational, professional and ethical merits, as well as the continual enhancement of their knowledge through research projects on the treatment of obesity.
CEMTIO was formed in June 2004 with the aim of bringing together a group of medical experts in the treatment of obesity capable of offering clear, detailed and continually updated information about the very latest in obesity treatments. The guiding principle for the members of CEMTIO is to work under the strictest conditions of quality and with the highest levels of professionalism to guarantee the safety and well-being of the patient at all times during his/her treatment.
Another of CEMTIO's principle objectives is to publish and disseminate studies related to the treatment of obesity.
